The Multi Area Narcotics Task Force has utilized Telephone Wiretaps pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code, which mirrors a Federal Title III action. These wiretaps consume a large amount of time and funds, however they have been quite successful in the apprehension and prosecution of major drug dealers, runners, and traffickers.

The Task Force has been successful in shutting down two large criminal organizations that were operating between Northwest Ohio and Texas and one criminal organization that was running between Northwest Ohio and Arizona.

The Task Force utilizes the resources of all personnel during these Wiretaps and sophisticated computer equipment and software to record and track each conversation intercepted during the wiretap.
